\r\n\tAn Iranian ballistic missile struck the Jerusalem metropolitan area, injuring at least five people, according to updated information from Magen David Adom, Israel’s emergency medical service<\/strong><\/p>

The incident occurred amid a new wave of missile attacks launched by the Iranian regime against Israeli territory, as part of a serious escalation of direct confrontations between the two countries.\r\n<\/p>

\r\nMagen David Adom teams were quickly dispatched after reports of an impact in the area.<\/p>

\r\nParamedics arrived at the scene and found a severely damaged vehicle near the point of impact.<\/p>

\r\nThey provided first aid on site.<\/p>

\r\nA 45-year-old man was classified as being in moderate condition, while the other injured presented minor injuries.<\/p>

\r\nIn addition, some people affected by the event reported symptoms of acute stress and post-traumatic stress disorder, which also required medical attention.\r\n<\/p>

\r\nInitially, emergency services reported seven injured, but after a more detailed assessment at the scene and during transport, the number was revised to five.<\/p>

\r\nIsraeli police, in turn, confirmed the evacuation of six victims with injuries of varying severity, all transported to hospitals in the capital by MDA (Iranian Defense Service) ambulances.<\/p>

\r\nPolice authorities immediately began a sweep of the affected area in search of missile fragments and possible debris that could pose an additional risk to the population.<\/p>

\r\nPolice publicly requested that people avoid approaching the impact site until the security operation was completed.\r\n<\/p>

\r\nThis direct attack on the Jerusalem area represents one of the closest incidents to the Israeli capital amidst the current cycle of retaliations.<\/p>

\r\nIran has launched ballistic missiles in response to previous military actions, including major Israeli and American air operations against Iranian targets.<\/p>

\r\nThe situation has rapidly escalated in recent days, with a series of projectiles hitting various parts of Israel, causing material damage, disruption to daily life, and now, also civilian casualties in the Jerusalem area.\r\n<\/p>
