\r\nOn Wednesday night, a house located in a moshav in the Emek Hefer region was hit by a rocket fired by Hezbollah, a Lebanese terrorist group, during an intense missile barrage targeting various areas of Israel<\/strong><\/p>

Since the beginning of the attacks on Wednesday, Hezbollah has launched approximately 200 rockets towards Israeli territory.<\/p>

\r\nOf that total, approximately 120 crossed the border and landed on Israeli soil, while the rest failed to cross the demarcation line.\r\n<\/p>

\r\nThe rocket that hit the residence landed directly in the backyard, causing very serious damage to the structure of the property and causing secondary damage to several neighboring houses.<\/p>

\r\nSome people who were at the scene needed medical attention for shock, but fortunately, no one suffered physical injuries.\r\n<\/p>

\r\nAccording to the Emek Hefer Regional Council, the reason there were no casualties was simple and decisive: the residents of the house were inside a protected room (also called a safe shelter or mamad) at the moment of impact.<\/p>

\r\nThe structure withstood the impact completely, remaining intact, while the rest of the house suffered considerable destruction.<\/p>

\r\nThe council emphasized that “only the safe room remained completely intact” and reinforced a clear message: entering a protected space as soon as the siren sounds and remaining there until the Home Front Command officially informs that the danger has passed is what saves lives.\r\n<\/p>

\r\nGalit Shaul, head of the Emek Hefer Regional Council, was at the scene and commented on the situation with relief: “Fortunately, despite the impact right next to the house, the family followed protocol and entered the protected room.<\/p>

\r\nEveryone is fine, without any injuries.<\/p>

\r\nThe entire street was searched, the area has already been cleared, and the situation is under control.<\/p>

\r\nExcept for the material damage, everyone is completely fine.”\r\n<\/p>

\r\nThis episode serves as yet another real-life example of the importance of following safety guidelines during emergencies, demonstrating how a quick and correct action can make all the difference between tragedy and the preservation of life.\r\n<\/p>
