\r\n\t#Hezbollah<\/a><\/p>

\r\n\tOn Sunday, the Israeli Air Force carried out a surgical strike against Hezbollah terrorist targets in the Dahieh neighborhood of Beirut, southern Lebanon<\/strong><\/p>

The action was a direct response to Hezbollah drone strikes directed towards Israeli territory earlier that morning.\r\n<\/p>

\r\nTwo of the drones exploded in the Shlomi area of “”western Galilee, and a third fell in a military zone within Israel.<\/p>

\r\nFortunately, there were no injuries, and all aerial targets fell in military areas near the border, without hitting civilian communities.<\/p>

\r\nThe circumstances of the incidents are still under investigation.\r\n<\/p>

\r\nPrime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a joint statement affirming that Israel will not tolerate fire against its territory.<\/p>

\r\nThey authorized the precise attack on Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in Dahieh in response to the group’s ongoing attacks.\r\n<\/p>

\r\nIsraeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir called for an even stronger response, arguing that any violation by Hezbollah should be firmly punished to guarantee the safety of residents in northern Israel.\r\n<\/p>

\r\nOn the Iranian side, the Central Headquarters Khatam al-Anbiya of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned that the “crimes of the Zionist regime in Dahieh” would not go unanswered.<\/p>

\r\nThe Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, criticized the United States, suggesting that the country lacks the will or capacity to fulfill commitments, especially on the eve of a possible agreement between Washington and Tehran to end hostilities and resume nuclear negotiations.\r\n<\/p>

\r\nThe attack comes at a time of high tension, days after a series of events that included Hezbollah fire, an Israeli response in Beirut, and then an Iranian missile attack against Israel and Israeli air counter-attacks in Iran.<\/p>

\r\nThe Dahieh neighborhood is considered Hezbollah’s main stronghold in Lebanon, and Israel had already made it clear that attacks against the north of the country would result in actions in that region.\r\n<\/p>
